Office of the Superintendent
In the Wellington Exempted Village School District (WEVSD) our students benefit from a small-school experience rich in programming developed to foster the whole student.
This website showcases some of the special programs we offer to help students reach their highest academic, athletic and individual potential through their school experience.
We provide a well-rounded education for our students with opportunities for student involvement in a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, as well as participation in performing and visual arts to inspire our students' creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. We invite you to view the district's Quality Profile to learn more about the ways we're providing high expectations for students in the Wellington Village Exempted Village Schoos.
Our community is very proud of its rich heritage and is dedicated to maintaining and improving our high quality of life through the "Spirit of Wellington." Our schools are a big part of that, which is why we say "it takes a village" to provide the best learning opportunities for our students.
WEVSD students benefit from the involvement of dedicated parents, family members, and school volunteers who enrich the school-learning environment through their support. Parent Teacher Associations, Wellington Schools Endowment, Wellington High School Alumni Association, the Village of Wellington, and many local for-profit and non-profit organizations play a critical role in our students' success.
Our sincere appreciation to the many people and partners who come together to ensure the success of our students and schools for many years to come.
Yours in education,
