Community Service
-
Community service is a hallmark of our dedication to developing well-rounded students. As such, high schoolers have a 60-hour community service requirement to graduate, leaving a lasting mark on our students and community as a whole.
The Wellington community and local businesses have a long tradition of supporting our schools and we are grateful for the support. Some community service activities include:
- In partnership with the Wellington Kiwanis Club, students can participate in K-Kids, Builder's or Key Club service organizations.
- Wellington High School students take an active part in community volunteering through a Community Service Day.
- Our schools were honored to receive $640,000 last year alone from our generous community to support student programs and facility improvements.
